(Try reinstalling, and see if something got left out.) Sometimes errors are caused by accidentally deleting one of the necessary cydia packages. Slide the slider at the bottom and it downloads Cydia to your i Touch automatically for free.
In order to delete packages that you have installed on Cydia you need to go into Cydia. I have seen this website on my own i Touch, and the only thing about the website is that your version has to be (I THINK) 4...first you have to jailbreak it the easiest one is to use after that cydia should be downloaded onto your i Pod/i Phone when clicking on it if it goes black the screen this is then it has gone wrong then you need to restore your i Pod one way is to go on to felixburns then dowload the..have to restart springboard.
There you have to delete all files except the ‘partial’ folder.

But in a comment someone gave me a link to a site who had cause and also the solution to it. You can also do it directly delete those files by using Mobile Finder OR i File.
The reason why cydia started crashing was some repositories were corrupted or broken OR had loaded some broken packages. I prefer i File as it has the option to delete multiple files at a time.
If he did get an app that cracks passwords, then he/she most likely downloaded it from alternate sources...After deleting all the files simply reboot your i Phone and start cydia. It should work fine, and no software’s/packages shall be deleted or lost.Read the comments below for more help, the community power is amazing ….What you do is go to your cydia on your ipod touch or iphone.
